Diversity and Inclusion
As technology continues to evolve rapidly, we acknowledge the significance of harnessing everyone’s unique perspectives, experiences, and skills to drive innovation. By promoting diversity, we unlock the full potential of our team, empowering us to deliver tailored and scalable end-to-end business solutions that address the unique needs of our clients.
Our commitment to diversity extends to the solutions we offer, emphasising the necessity of inclusivity for comprehensive and effective strategies.
We understand that building a truly diverse and inclusive workplace is an ongoing journey, and we are committed to regularly evaluating and improving our efforts. Our goal is not just to meet the standards of diversity and inclusion but to exceed them, creating an environment where every individual can thrive and reach their full potential.
Our commitment to closing the gap
Chartertech is committed to closing the gender pay gap whilst continuing to drive an environment that is diverse, everyone feels safe to be themselves and bring 100% of themselves to work. We believe in paying people fairly and equally for the work that they do, regardless of gender.
Our current gender pay gap of 4.3%, favouring men, stands commendably well within the 27.6% industry benchmark for total remuneration average. However, it is crucial to acknowledge the factors contributing to this gap in order to continually improve.
Acknowledging the complex nature of predominantly working in an environment where our aim, like many other ICT firms, is to close the gender gap in the ICT industry. We are dedicated to investing the necessary research, effort, and time needed to make a real impact through our comprehensive action plan.
We are committed to uplifting our policies and adapting our approach to ensure that our teams have the learning opportunities and skill development they need to excel in their career; given the underrepresentation of women in specialised ICT roles.
We are dedicated to training the next generation of female talent and encourage cross-rotational opportunities in ICT areas; given we currently have a higher representation of females in junior and support function roles impacting our pay median.
Through our ongoing action plan, we are actively working to ensure fair and transparent remuneration practices. The best results occur through diversity and inclusion including recruiting and retaining female talent and/or moving through different pay brackets within Chartertech.
