The solution
Chartertech provided services to set up data transfer processes between Aurion (HRMIS), TechnologyOne, and Saviom (Enterprise Resource Management System). This ensured the Australian National Audit Office (ANAO) had near real-time data for reporting and minimised manual data input to improve accuracy.
This work included:
- Daily data uploads of employee details (name, AGS numbers, classification, etc.) from Aurion to create or update resource profiles in Saviom.
- Daily uploads, though this is subject to confirmation and discussion with the relevant expert.
- Fields and lookup tables to be identified for mapping from Aurion to Saviom.
- Project details (name, details, key staff, actual hours).
- Finance related information.
- Testing by the analyst to identify issues and recommendations for resolution.
This involved undertaking planning, developing and implementing both data migration strategies and design activities, and in the TechnologyOne and Aurion product sets.
