The solution
We continue to provide services to ATG in the following areas:
- End user support;
- Model enhancements and;
- Training.
Up to August 2021 the ATG solution comprised two on-premises environments, which included five Windows servers – biannual upgrades are applied to these servers for both TM1 and Cognos Analytics.
During July/August 2021, Chartertech supported the migration of the ATG solution to IBM’s SaaS offering (Planning Analytics with Watson on Cloud), which was carried out without any disruption to end users. As part of this migration project, we moved the TM1 model to IBM’s servers, updated our ETL’s to integrate with the cloud components and implemented federated SSO authentication between ATG’s Azure active directory and IBM. This move to cloud, where IBM are responsible for upgrades and backups, ensures that ATG is taking advantage of the latest features and capabilities.
